1.What is Stratosfere

Stratosfere puts all the smart-home servers you have installed in one place. You can see if they are working, open any of them to change settings, keep safety copies of their setup, and reach them from anywhere.

2.Create your account

1. On the sign-in page, click Create one.
2. Type your name, your company (optional), your email and a password.
3. Click Create Account. You are in.

3.Add your first server

A server is the small computer installed in the house that controls the lights, blinds and heating.

1. Click Register Server at the top right.
2. Give it a name you will recognize, for example "House Smith — Main".
3. Type the server's address. This is usually its IP address in the house, for example 192.168.1.50. If you were given an internet address (starting with https://), paste that instead.
4. Optionally write the city and any notes.
5. Click Register Server. It appears immediately with a green or red light.

4.See if your servers are OK

1. Online (green) means the server works. Offline (red) means it cannot be reached right now.
2. If it is offline, the card shows for how long — for example "Offline for 2h 15m".
3. Click anywhere on a server's card to see more: its full history of going on and off, its software version, and its backups.

5.Open a server to work on it

To change anything inside a house — lights, rooms, devices — you open that server's control panel.

1. Click Manage on the server's card.
2. The control panel opens. On the left side you have a menu with everything: Floors, Rooms, Devices, Scenes, Flows and more.
3. When you are done, click the server name at the bottom of the left menu and choose Cloud Portal to come back.

6.Create floors and rooms

First tell the system how the house looks: which floors it has, and which rooms are on each floor.

1. In the left menu click Floors, then Add Floor. Type a name like "Ground Floor" and save.
2. Repeat for every floor of the house.
3. Now click Rooms, then Add Room. Choose the floor, type the room's name like "Living Room", pick an icon and save.
4. Repeat for every room.

7.Add devices

Devices are the things the customer controls: lights, blinds, thermostats, sockets, sensors, the door intercom.

1. In the left menu click Devices, then Add Device.
2. Choose the room the device is in.
3. Type a name the customer understands, like "Ceiling Light".
4. Choose what it is (light, blind, thermostat...) and which system it belongs to (KNX, Z-Wave, Zigbee, Shelly...).
5. Connect it to the real device — the panel guides you depending on the system:

• KNX: first open KNX Connections once and connect to the KNX gateway of the house (the electrician's KNX plan tells you the addresses). Then, on each device, pick the addresses from the list.
• Z-Wave: open Z-Wave Discovery, press the pairing button on the physical device, and it appears in the list. Then link it to the device you created.
• Zigbee: open Zigbee, allow new devices to join, press the pairing button on the device, and link it when it appears.
• Shelly: open Shelly — devices already in the house Wi-Fi show up by themselves. Just link them.
• Ebelong / Modbus: open their page in the menu, connect once to the equipment, and link what is found to your devices.

8.Scenes

A scene sets many things at once with one tap — for example "Evening": living-room light at 40%, kitchen off, blinds down.

1. In the left menu click Scenes, then Add Scene.
2. Give it a name like "Evening" or "Leaving home".
3. Choose what each device should do in this scene.
4. Save. The customer sees the scene on their wall panel and phone.

9.Automations

An automation makes the house do things by itself — for example: when someone enters the hallway after sunset, turn the light on.

1. In the left menu click Flows.
2. Click to add a trigger — the thing that starts it (a sensor, a time of day, sunrise/sunset).
3. Add the action — what should happen (turn a light on, move blinds, activate a scene).
4. Draw a line from the trigger to the action, then click Deploy.
5. The automation now runs on the server itself, even without internet.

10.Updates

1. On the server's page, look at the Versions box. Click Check updates to see if something newer exists.
2. If yes: click Manage, open System Update in the left menu and start it.
3. The server updates itself and comes back online on its own — you can watch its status from the portal.

11.Backups

A backup is a safety copy of everything you configured in a house. If something goes wrong, you bring it all back with one click.

1. On the server's page click Create Backup. Done — it takes seconds.
2. Download saves the copy as a file on your computer. Upload Backup brings such a file back into the cloud.
3. Restore puts the saved setup back on the server. It is safe: what is already correct stays untouched, nothing is deleted, nothing gets doubled. You get a clear report of what was changed.
4. The Backups tab at the top shows all copies of all your servers in one list.

12.Access from anywhere

Normally a server can only be reached inside the house. With remote access you can check and fix it from your office — without touching the customer's router.

1. On the server's page find the Remote access box and click Request Cloud Activation.
2. Complete the payment that is shown.
3. Wait — the platform prepares the connection and shows Active by itself when it is ready.
4. Click Use remote address. From now on everything — status, backups, managing — works from anywhere.

13.If something doesn't work

• The server shows red (offline): check that it has power and network in the house. Click the small refresh arrow on its card to re-check immediately.
• "Manage" doesn't open: you are probably not in the same network as the server. Enable remote access (chapter 12), or connect from the house's network.
• A device doesn't react: open the device in the panel and try it from there first. If it doesn't react there either, check the system's connection page (KNX, Z-Wave...) — it should show green/connected.
• You changed something by mistake: restore the latest backup (chapter 11).
